We are families, professionals, and long-term residents who came to Portugal under the Golden Visa program.

We followed the rules. We made investments. We made lives here — learned the language, enrolled our children in local schools, built relationships, paid our taxes.

Now, the rules have changed.

The government has passed legislation that extends the wait for citizenship to 10 years — starting from the date of residence card issuance, not the original application. This affects thousands of families, violates legitimate expectations, and risks severing our children's future from the homes they are growing up in.

This site exists to inform, organize, and speak up. We are calling on the President of the Republic, political leaders, and the Portuguese public to uphold fairness, legality, and integrity.
